My name is Elma Raw, owner and operator of Bridal Elegance & Extras which is situated on an idyillic property near Lake Eacham on the Atherton Tablelands. I would like to invite you to visit me and allow me to show you how pleasant and enjoyable planning a wedding can be.

Over my 12 yrs in the industry, I have serviced an area ranging from Thursday Island, Mossman, Cairns and south of Townsville, and have been fortunate to be involved in many different styles of weddings.

There have been sunrise ceremonies on Tropical Beaches, many garden weddings, elaborate church functions, at home informal ceremonies, hot air ballon weddings, 2nd weddings and several elopments!  

My business caters for all wedding styles, big or small, from budget to the Haute Couture elegance, by providing several services that make it all more enjoyable and simpler!

My philosophy is that everbodys wedding is important and that no effort should be spared in making sure that the day is truly as special as it should be!  

I believe in providing quality products, value for money and caring service.  Accordingly, I make appointments with prospective clients so that we can have uninterrupted personal time to cover any or all aspects of you wedding. This allows you to have the showroom and my time exclusively, which will in turn make you and your family more comfortable when trying on gowns and accesories.

Private fittings also offer family and friends the opportunity to freely express their opinions and a lot of fun can be had by all. Appointments can be made 7 days a week and flexible time to suit you can be made, even on public holidays.

In store is an extensive range of gowns for sale and hire, covering a large range of styles to compliment differnt figure types in a range of colours and sizes from 6-30.

Some styles are exclusive to the store and have been designed in London, Paris, New York and Australia.   You can be a princess in a ball gown from Justin Alexander, Elegant in a Demetrious gown. a sophisticate in a Sincerity style, a modern miss in a Henri Joseph creation, an etheral figure in a soft flowing Ella gown,  Glamourous in a magnificient Cosmobella style, a stand out in classic lines by Nicolina or a trend setter in Divina Sposa!

Should you wish to have a design of your own dream gown made, I  can provide a proffessional dressmaker to assist you at very competitive prices.

Bridesmaids have a great choice in style, colour and price and flower girl dresses and page boy suits are also available to complete the day.  We stock deb gowns and after 5 formals, but you wont need those for the special day!  

All our garments are top quality and made in fabulous fabrics and designs to flatter the body. I cant wait to show them to you. 

                                                
Available as well are venue decorations for hire, all colour co-ordinated for each wedding  and many "extras"  like feather pens, ring cushion, car ribbons etc.  Hiring these puts finishing touches to your wedding at considerable cost and labour savings.
